About NYC MWBE Certification
Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) are businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by members of a minority group or women, and are certified by the NYC Department of Small Business Services.
Our mission is to ensure that these certified, excellent vendors get the visibility and opportunity they've earned. When MWBE vendors compete on quality, everyone wins: agencies get better service, businesses build sustainable enterprises, and communities develop economic power.
